Participants in the programme will receive the following benefits:


1) Office space:
Project participants will be given suitable office space in which to undertake their activities free of charge. The space proposed will meet the project’s needs, and will be equipped with general office furniture (table, chairs and lights). Communication services (telephone and Internet) will be paid by participants.
If required, workshop or laboratory facilities will also be provided. These must be requested at the time of application, and the technical committee will assess the need for these facilities.


2) Communal areas:
Subject to prior reservation of the area concerned and depending on availability, participants may use the Park’s various communal areas (auditoriums, meeting rooms, etc.).

 

3) Housing: The Science Park will make participants as many as three offers of housing in a nearby municipality that is easy accessible by public transport, and will pay the rent of the dwelling chosen.

The project participants will be considered tenants of the dwelling concerned, and will be liable for it. The cost of water, electricity, gas and telephone service will be paid by participants.

The Park will make monthly payments to project participants in order for them to pay rent on the housing.


4) Mentoring and business development:
Project participants will have at their disposal the services of a person with knowledge of the workings of local administrative authorities, of the university and of local companies, so that this person may act on their behalf and help them to develop their projects. This person will also provide advice and assistance related to housing and the surrounding area.
