The Diputació de Girona, through its Department for Economic and New Technology Promotion, prioritizes collaboration in projects designed to promote innovation, attract talent and foster generalized and balanced development in the municipalities within its geographical area.

The University of Girona (UdG) Science and Technology Park aims to promote the economic development of the Girona region through the dissemination of knowledge and technology. The Park constitutes an attractive environment for the achievement of this objective, with six buildings designed for R+D activities and a combination of scientific and technological infrastructures together with additional innovation- and technology-based services capable of giving hi-tech companies an extra competitive edge.

The Diputació de Girona and the UdG Science and Technology Park have signed an agreement to initiate a talent-development project to encourage the installation in the Park of leading-edge companies with innovative projects.
